Congestion charge and environmental differentiation rates in Oslo

On October 1st 2017, congestion charge and environmental differentiation rates will be introduced at the toll point in Oslo. Rates at the toll point in Bærum are adjusted to general inflation.
Rate group 1 
The rate group consists of vehicles with an allowed total weight of 3500 kg and category M1 vehicles with a valid agreement.

The rate group consists of vehicles with an allowed total weight of 3501 kg and up, with the exeption of category M1 cars with a valid agreement.

Crossing in rush is registered in the timeframe between 06.30 - 09.00 and 15.00 - 17.00.
Rush will not be registered on weekend days (Saturday and Sunday), official holydays and in July. Additionally, Christmas eve, New Year’s Eve and the Wednesday before Easter are exempt from rush.
Rechargeable hybrids in rate group 1 are charged as gasoline vehicles. Rechargeable hybrids in rate group 2 are charged as Euro VI.

Registration for foreign vehicles
In order to get the correct rates for your foreign vehicles, you need to register the emission standard for the vehicle. This applies to vehicles which is Euro 6, electric, hydrogen, gasoline or rechargeble hybrid. Failure to register may lead to a higher toll charge than the one stipulated.

Discount
The discount for customers with a valid AutoPASS-agreement remains unchanged at 10%. The discount is applicable regardsless of which toll company you have an agreement with in Norway or in the EasyGo-cooperation. Agreement customers only pay for one crossing per hour and a maximum of 60 crossings per calendar month. This does not include the toll points in Oslo and Bærum. All toll points are automatic and crossings are billed.
Exemption
The following are exempt from payment at the toll point: Motorcycles, public busses, emergency vehicles and handicapped with a valid parking card where the card has a valid period exeeding 2 years.
